Hi, I'm Sanchita.
Public health professional · Policy analyst · Program evaluator
I work where policies, services and research intersect within communities.
A quote I go by
There is no such thing as a single-issue struggle because we do not live single-issue lives.

About me
I'm passionate about improving access to healthcare, and about understanding how resilient communities are built at a systems level.
My path started in dental school, running community health camps in remote coastal communities in India. Again and again, the barrier to health wasn't a lack of knowledge. It was a lack of access. That pulled me into public health, where I could work on access directly rather than one patient at a time.
Today I bring 4+ years of experience across healthcare settings, program evaluation, and work alongside governments, municipalities and community organizations. I'm most energized by cross-organizational community building: bringing partners together to create resilient, upstream systems that meet the needs of the people they're built for.
I believe the best evidence is built with communities, not just about them. The people living the gaps usually understand them best, and that's where I like to work.
